Snapshot in an album
You are walking next to me
The sun is slowly sinking in the breakers of the sea
The surf was crashing dimly as secrets we did share
The Wind was playing lightly in the softness of your hair

Stars rise up and shine their light
In the everlasting night
You were burning like the sun
A Cold and blazing heated one

Sitting in the darkness of my city living room (with)
Traffic and the street sound uninvited in the gloom
Curtains slightly stirring in the humid summer air
Snapshot on the table takes me back to where . . . .

The moon conspires with ice and snow
To quench the flame to freeze the flow
This Photograph cuts like a knife
It turns the past to crystal ice

Stars rise up and shine their light
In the everlasting night
You were burning like the sun
A Cold and blazing heated one
