Gioia Garden

Her garden bath mists sky and land
water droplets touch skin untanned
'til Sun beams brush on Candytufts
heating steam wisps to whirls and puffs
Wake up Daylilies, Zinnias
Fuchsia, Hibiscus, Petunias!
Open Yellow Sunroses, Poppies
Partridge Peas and Morning Glories!
Garden delights might yet unfold
'tween Sunflower and Marigold
And offer drink on tea trolley
enjoyed on bed of Sea Holly
If gardener works Earth with care
then Lavender and Rose scent air
Life and world might bloom like flowers
would all tender loving hours
